If you’re operating your business online, like many of the Breadwinning Women listeners are, you probably have heard the term product launch. Product launches despite what the name suggests happen for both product and service based businesses.
Outside of the online business world, you have likely attended or heard of a business owner having a launch event for their business, a book, heck everything these days has a launch, sneakers, the latest smartphone, the list goes on and on .
Really, all it is… is a specific period in time when a business works to create a lot of anticipation, and then opens enrollment for new clients. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you won’t take clients after the launch period but the launch is All about creating anticipation, building a buzz with your ideal buyers to create an influx of clients in a short period of time.
That’s why there is a lot of opportunity in doing a launch. I like to call it an enrollment event.
When you have these events it allows you to sell one to many versus one to one. It takes a lot of effort to put together a launch but the benefit is You can enroll more clients at a time.
