How She Built a Morning Routine that Creates a Coveted Network and a Bi-Coastal Lifestyle

Emily Merrell is building a community that ensures the people you network with are highly valuable connections. As Founder & CEO of Six degrees Society, Emily spends her days working one-on-one with coaching clients and coordinating 12 events a month across 7 different cities. The San Francisco based entrepreneur has honed a morning routine that allows her to stay centered while managing a bi-coastal lifestyle.

My routine varies depending on if I'm in NYC or SF

6:45 am- Wake up 7:00 am:  Meditating for 15 minutes in bed followed by gratitude journaling for 10 minutes

7:30 am: Run for 30 minutes outside in the park

8:30 am: Shower and get ready for the day

8:45 am: Walk to my co-working space

9:00 am: Start my day, check emails and make a list of the most important things I need to do

10:00 am: Start client calls

 Emily's advice:

Batch your days with different head spaces. I only take phone calls on certain days and stop working at a certain hour. Routine teaches boundaries and boundaries helps you be more productive.
